Large Malaysian Banking Group Implements New Core Banking System
Aristal is proud to have played an instrumental role in the successful implementation of a new core banking system for one of Malaysia’s largest banking groups. The historic event in 2013 marks a major milestone in the Group’s transformation effort to attract new customer segments and stay competitive in today’s dynamic environment.
This Phase 1 implementation is the most complex core banking replacement in the region as it involves three major roll-outs on the same day, i.e. replacement of core banking system for ~5 million+ customers & deposit & loan accounts, implementation of a new java-based branch teller systems used by ~2000+ tellers and office users, rewiring of overall online EAI integration architecture, integration with ~80+ interface applications and a new enterprise data warehouse supporting ~20+ downstream applications for risk, finance, compliance & regulatory reporting.
Aristal was engaged by this banking group to lead and manage both Phases 1 & 2 implementation of this strategic program.
Aristal Engaged to Develop Merger Integration Plan for a Large Australian Bank
Aristal partnered with a global consulting firm to plan and execute the Operations & IT merger integration for this large Australian Bank and a UK Bank across 6 ASEAN countries.
Aristal consultants were responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Target Operating Model for the Institutional Banking, Cash, Payments & Clearing business operations for the merged banks across 6 countries. ARISTAL consultants also played key roles in the planning & execution of the Institutional operations and IT domains.
Top Regional Bank Engages Aristal to Re-engineer its Business Banking Credit Processes
The client engaged Aristal to re-engineer their existing business banking credit origination processes with the objective of improving their overall credit origination efficiency, customer turnaround time, as well as enhancing the overall business banking customer services and customer experience.
In this engagement, Aristal consultants defined a new set of end-to-end credit processes to improve the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction for the credit life cycle. In addition, Aristal consultants had also assisted the bank to design its new credit origination system to support the its target operating model and new credit processes.
